Because I have uni on Monday!!

Not only that, but I basically only have a day of weekend cause I worked the whole day today =.=

So tomorrow is the only day that I’m free and YES I am DETERMINED that I am going to do some sort of studying… *fingers crossed*

It’s been a happening week with the start of uni and all that but I really had fun. Cause I was getting to know more people, learning new things and of course, going back to the routine of taking the bus!

Yup, that bus route…

So strange yet so familiar

I sit on this very bus almost every morning, awake yet dozing off, listening to my favourite iPod tunes. The smell of morning dew and noises of people yawning on the bus. Morning lectures are just so… morning-ly.

That first week of uni on the Wednesday, I met up with Bawa the awesomeness and she suggested that we go to the MSU BBQ  to get free lunch (=

Sadly, by the time we got to the city it was raining heavily. So we ended up going to Broadway to get lunch. Heheeee, and Duong drove us there. Guess what I found in his car?

Yup! I put seatbelts on Mashi Maro cause I’m responsible and it’s safer on wet roads =D

Anyway, the day ended when Bawa and Dar came over to my house and we watched “Wall-e”… and I fell asleep at parts! Cause I’ve already watched it before =D

Oh yeh, on the same day, I received a lovely pressie from my lovely KG ((:

Thursday I had worked.

I had uni from 12 - 1 on Friday. That Haem lecture was soooooo short! I went to Caro after to get boost juice <3 and then to Forest Lakes for alcohol then home. Cause that night, it was Susan’s 21st birthday party. I have to admit, I actually don’t know her well at all. I know she won’t be reading this but thanks for inviting! ^^

Random Note: Well, I have seen it all for myself and it’s all true. I guess there is no reason for me to believe in you anymore. You can say any excuses you want and no matter how real they sound, the neurons are going to send a message from my brain to my eyes and tell them to roll it.

At the end of the day, what matters is that I’m happy and I’m enjoying myself right? Of course! I enjoyed myself (:

You know, I had a conversation with someone last night. I gave some stuff a little thought. I found that sometimes, things don’t always go the way I want it to. But it’s okay. Sometimes, it’s not your fault. People has grown to be more selfish and sometimes just because they don’t know you, they think that they can judge you.

The classic line - never judge a book by its cover.

I had changed over the year but not dramatically. For the better or for the worse? I don’t know. To me, I’ve grown out of the little Irene. Right now, I am not little anymore. I’m older (almost out of my teenage years), vainer in many many ways, independent (?) and of course I’ve learnt not to hold back that real person inside you.

Being young and immature before, I guess I’ve probably hurted feelings of some people and I apologise. But whatever has passed should already be behind us. No one is perfect. Therefore, I would only apologise for the bits that I’ve done wrong. As for the remaining parts of the story, we can just keep it in our hearts. To forgive and forget is difficult but nonetheless, it is worth a try.

I will never change the way I am again. Regardless whether people think I am the me from last time or the me now. I am here now and I can say that I love the way I am now. Not because I am very confident or think highly of myself but because I am happy.

I am proud of my family.

I am proud of the me last time (cause without that, I wouldn’t be me now).

I am proud of my loved ones.

I am proud of that person who spoke to me last night (Friends are the ones that tells you not to change, not the ones that thinks badly of you and not make you realise it).

I am proud of everything I have now.

Don’t take them away from me just to make me unhappy.

All we need is a fair competition to live happily.

I’m pretty tired at the moment and it is close to midnight so I apologise if there’s any spelling mistakes or illustration problems cause my brain is like half dead!

So today was UWA O-day! The not fun bit is that I woke up at 6.30am but the fun bit is that I caught up with Bawa and it was awesome-nesssss ^^

Meet up with Bawa @ Thornlie TS at 8.15am then caught a train down to city. Then Dar drove us to UWA. (Thanks Dar!!) Hehe how nice. UWA’s so big though… it’s hard not to get lost. Anyway, it took us a while to find the store~

It’s the “time of the year” again! We’re all preparing to go back to uni~ which is why there’s always O-day! I think it’s pretty smart for Curtin cause they always have unit orientation a week before the uni starts and explain stuff we need to get organised before uni officially starts. A good opportunity for newbie students to check out uni environment and course mates (:

Sadly, I’ve only left with 2 units to juggle around with this semester (technical problems!). Went to Histopathology orientation today. Started at 8.30am so I woke up at 6am to get ready. KNOWING Nicole, I called her at 7.30am to check whether she was awake… to my “surprise”, she wasn’t =.= Yup, her alarm clock rang at “7am”. Hoho, lucky I woke her up. Anyway, she still managed to be late…

Finished orientation at 9am!! Then, I was free… So Nicnic and I decided to go down to city for breaky ^^

Oh yeh, I forgot to mention… I waited for Ken to finish work today. When I reached his workplace, with intentions to surprise him… he ended up leaving office early!! Grrr… so he waited for me at Murdoch bus station. LOL! He wasn’t too surprised but he was happy =P

Everyone loves new stuff… including me! Since uni is starting, I’ve decided I needed a better desk and study area and solve my storage problem in the room. So last week I went to office works to check out some new desks. I was quite broke already so I was looking for a bargain with lotsa storage!

I ended up buying a desk and a 6 cube storage shelf. There was two problems:

- how to fit those stuff in the car

- how to fix those stuff together when I get home

Fortunately, this officeworks guy came along and helped me and my mom fit those stuff (they’re all not fixed yet) into the camry… and off we went home.

The fixing bit… that day was SO HOT… I almost melted. Maybe not. But anyway, I fixed the 6 cube shelf first cause it’s easier and…

nice eh? It wasn’t too hard. Took me 15 minutes to fix this one (:

Now whenever I leave the house, I can just grab my keys and not forget about them. Hehehee~

…and Ken’s lovely alto which he let me use it since he got himself a new desktop. Thanks hun ^^

It took me many many hours to work on this with a bit of my dad’s help (cause I’ve got no muscle). LOL. But it all worked out well~
