I had a very special day today…
Well, for the first half of the day I was a grumpy little woman who did nothing but got angry at some stuff. It’s more than just one stuff!
1) Some people are just too irresponsible - can’t blame cause they’re still young but I believe there are some degree of understanding that you do something, you clean up your own shit.
2) From now on, I will just mind my own business and won’t show any concern to anyone if someone else is gonna think otherwise. I’m sick and tired of having to look out for the kind of people I talk to just because of the OTHER people around them.
Okay, enough of my ranting today. I seriously don’t know what makes me so mad but I just have to say I really don’t want to care anymore. People just don’t listen to me (Maybe because I’m not worth listening to?).
Let’s talk about something nicer that happened later in the day.
I don’t know if you guys have realised but today is me and Ken’s 22nd Monthversary…
The day starts off with me getting up at 9-ish am (Slept at 4.30am cause chatting to Jane on the phone - we had lots to talk about.. hahaha). I was meant to make pancakes for Ken but when I got up, I realised the pancake mix packet was gone @.@ - my mom used it to make pancakes! So I called Ken and tell him that I couldn’t make him pancakes anymore… =\
Anyway, he came over and told me that he is gonna bring me somewhere which I wasn’t suppose to know until I get there. So he picked out clothes for me that is suitable to wear for the place we are going… so off we went.
First stop was City West - he wanted to check out the rechargeable batteries.
He got lost on the way to our ünknown destination… so in the end, I found out that we are actually going to Ikea to walk around. Hahaha! I love that place to bits! Seriously. Maybe cause I kinda love looking at those designs of furnitures. Perhaps, I should just be an interior designer… express my design flare xD That is definitely a place I would go to to buy my furnitures when I get my own house! - which is like… ages away
Here are some pictures:
Ken expressing his inner violent childhood of Soft-Toy-Shark trying to bite Soft-Toy-Giraffe…

Ken getting obsessed with this $5 Heart with arms soft toy. Haha~

By the end of the Ikea trip:
- A white clock
- A white plastic bin
- Assorted coloured plastic cups
all they all comes down to ~$9 (: Super Cheap!
Our third destination was Westfield Innaloo which was just opposite Ikea - found a 3pm Subway treat (way too hungry by then)
We visited Nat at work in Karriyup after that. She had teabreak so we followed her around Myer to look for clothes she wanted to buy (Mid season sales). We decided to go over to the house she was “house-sitting” for after she finished work. So during that time, me and Ken went to our fifth destination for food.
Scarborough beach! Love this place too. We went and got our dinner at the kebab place just opposite to the beach. After eating, we decided to take a walk to the beach…

My journey to the beach barefoot…

When I got there…

The beach look so peaceful. At that moment, my mood just felt so relaxed. I forgot totally about my test on Monday, what happened this morning and every other things on my head. All I could see is the beautiful sky that is coloured in pink, yellow, green and of course blue! I just love that blend of colours.
We decided to sit down there and watch the sun setting in front of us. This is the second time I’ve actually watched the sun set. This feeling is special, warm and definitely happy. The sunset just seem to make sure that you are enjoying your day. Cause I really did enjoyed my day.
Well, after the sun has totally set and we are already frozen, we walked back to the car to get to the house Nat was house-sitting. We stayed for about 30 minutes watching American’s funniest home videos.
Our last destination of the day is the city - bubble tea @ Tea Fusion (:
As usual, I ordered green apple green tea which I have been addicted to after being introduced to during my trip in Singapore.
And here I am, back at home. Back to the same place… back to studying… soon enough. Memories was good enough for me to keep on missing what I missed about happiness. Although simple happiness like this is hard to come by sometimes, but I will always keep looking… and will keep on making myself happy.
After all, no matter what happen or is happening around you, your ultimate aim of life is, really, to make yourself feel happy living in this world.
