Imagine this:

You are happily sleeping in for the weekend (which you hardly have the chance to), and suddenly the phone outside rang. Annoyed yet you feel that it might be an important call. You hop out of bed from your precious lala land and answered the phone call.

Caller: Hi I am XXX from XXX company. I would like to offer you XXX product… bla bla bla (The words makes you feel like going back to sleep even more)… ? *somehow the long string of words ends with a question mark, expecting an answer from you*

You: Huh?

Caller: I would like to offer you XXX product… (you starts to drift off again…)

(Eventually you got annoyed and hung up… or the caller got annoyed at you because you made them repeat like a zillion times which they probably already has done that from previous calls)

You ran back to your wonderful comfy little bed. But you ended up not being able to go back to bed =.=

Don’t you just hate random calls?!

Cause I do!

I’ve got 5 yesterday?! And guess what I was doing for the whole day? STUDYING!… and guess what? I won something twice =.= (Congratulations, you’ve won XXX for just XXX dollars!)

There are so many different type of random calls you get and you will be seriously amazed how operators can handle this type of job (they probably get a lot of shit from people like us) cause I will die calling people everyday…

Random Call Type 1

Me: Hello?

Caller: *silence*

Me: Hello??

Caller: *silence*

Me: Hello??? =.=

Caller: *silence*

Me: SILENCE! I KILL YOU!

Caller: But I was rather silent…. *starts crying over the phone* (LOL)

*Hangs up*

Note: I wished that happened but it didn’t, I just hung up after the second hello.

Random Call Type 2

Me: Hello?

Caller: Hello! I am XXX from XXX company. You can win XXX. It is easy and cost you nothing.

Me: …okay?

Caller: Now are you a PR?

Me: =.= No.

Caller: Alright, that’s fine. Is your partner a PR?

Me: No.

Caller: Alright, that’s fine. Is any of your family members a PR?

Me: No.

Caller: Alright, that’s fine. Is any of your relatives a PR? (I bet you they rehearsed this many times!)

Me: No.

Caller: Alright. Hmmm, sorry for your time. Bye.

Me: Bye.

Note: Just for your info, I’m a citizen =.=

Random Call Type 3

Me: Hello?

Caller: Hi and congratulations! You have been chosen from our company, XXX. Now you have a chance to go on holiday for just XXX dollars!

Me: What?

Caller: You have a chance to go on holidays for just XXX dollars! (Woah they can say it in the same excitement for the second time)

Me: Oh. Sorry I’m not interested.

Caller: But it’s a holiday! Don’t you want to go on a holiday?

Me: I’M NOT INTERESTED!

*Hangs up*

Random Call Type 4

Me: Hello?

Caller: Hello. We are offering you a phone plan for XXX per month with XXX benefits etc etc. We also offer you a free 3G phone! (Probably expecting a big fat OMG from me)
Me: Oh.

Caller: Yes, the 3G phone has XXX features and XXX functions etc etc

Me: Oh. I see. So. What phone are you offering may I ask?

Caller: Nokia 6101! (The phone my Mom was using and I must say it’s a very old phone that is doesn’t have bluetooth and a crap camera)

Me: So. What company are you calling from?

Caller: Our company is called Whisper (I almost cracked up laughing. So they wants you to whisper on the phone? xD)

Me: Oh. And what service is it under?

Caller: It is under Optus.

Me: Ic. Alright, sorry to say but I’m not very interested.

Caller: May I know why?

Me: =.= Because I already have a phone plan?!

Caller: That’s easy, you can always change.

Me: I’m not interested.

Caller: Why not? It’s a nice phone.

Me: I said, I’m NOT interested.

Caller: Okay, thanks for your time. Enjoy the rest of your day. Bye.

Me: Bye~

Random Call Type 5

Me: Hello?

Caller: Who is this?

Me: Huh?

Caller: Who is this?

Me: You called me, didn’t you?

Caller: Who is this?

Me: Who is this?

Caller: Who is this?

Me: (It gets up to the point where everything you say is not a question anymore) Who is this.

Caller: Who is this?

Me: Hey kid, YOU called me. Get it right!

*Hangs up*

- Waiting for someone to finish work

- Waiting for something to be cooked on the saucepan

It’s not a bad thing to wait after all. But for impatient people, I guess they won’t have to wait that much cause they probably have pissed themselves off too much their life has shortened… so everyone~ gather your patience! Cause life is short already, don’t make it shorter. Plus, waiting may not be a bad thing after all.

But don’t wait for things that is not worth waiting for! You just might not have the energy to keep waiting if you get no results!

But smile… and keep waiting (for things that is worth waiting for)!

It’s Easter break! Weeeeee~ One whole week of sleep ins + relaxing + studying for mid semester test + watching series.

Last week has been quite hectic but there was some nice moments which I captured down with my phone. So, I shall blog about what I did during the week

Starting from…

MONDAY

Early early lecture @ 8am… Zzz nice way to start the week isnt it?

Well, I get only lectures on Mondays so things usually gets a little bit bored after a while… cause we end class at 6pm.

@ Medical Microbiology lecture…

That day… I walked home after taking the 206 bus (which used to be 883). But I had a walk a longggggg way to get back to my house. But the weather was just so nice, I wished I could walked for longer.

Remember this little corner near my house? Brings me some sweet memories of the park… where there is our little island, ducks attacking us and the playgrounds which made me turned into a little kid once again. The intersection where we walk our paths back home and hugged like no one was watching

TUESDAY

Labs, labs and more labs. Which also means stress, stress and more stress! We always have to try and finish our sections before we have to be kicked out of our class by that grumpy old man…

On my first break (1 hour) I had pasta for lunch at main cafe with Nicole. Saw Kenny there and we had a tiny chat with him. I think guys love to gossip too? Lol.

On my second break… (1 hour also) I have to search the library for a histology book that I wanted. When I was there, I saw Ching and Siong and… this other dude (I forgot his name). Then I saw KG walked pass, and didn’t say hi =.= CHEHHH. Then I went and look for him until I realised why he was in a rush. Hehehe to see dai sou ma xD

WEDNESDAY

Med Micro lab - which I was always turning up late. I was 5 mins late~

I saw Trisha that bum while I was waiting for the 223 bus. So we chatted along the way from our bus stop to train station to Oat Street station. It’s nice to see a friend that you haven’t seen for a long time but also just shows how distant we grow as all of us leave high school - which I think doesn’t necessary means a bad thing. Just that, we learn a lot more than we think we do.

I didn’t go home too early even though my class finished at 12 noon. I went and eat pasta again from main cafe with Nicole bummie. I love it when we can sit down and chat ^.^ After that, I went to histo lab to look at my heart - the heart section I cut and stained during histo class (and tht heart is not mine =.=) - under the microscope. Looks smth like this…

Yeh I took that picture from my phone through the microscope… so I had to zoom in and that’s why picture is so small.

I left at about 3.30pm to catch the bus cause I had to go to the movies at Burswood that night.

When I got home, I was meant to go shower and get ready. Instead I fall asleep on my bed, hugging Piglet. When I woke up, it was already 6pm! Gosh, was meant to get ready by 6.30pm. So, ran in the shower and got ready ASAP.

“American Gangster” was the movie for the night in Burswood (that place we went is on an open air place with a mega big screen in front of us so I had to take our own chairs and food from home). The movie was not bad but I wasn’t very comfy cause it was a bit cold and I just can’t find the right position to sit on that chair. Lol.

THURSDAY

Lectures all day as well.

Went to main cafe for pasta AGAIN! 3 days in a row - Yes, I’m getting fat. But that day I got an easter egg from the lady at the cashier.

Hehe how sweet~

The last lecture ends at 4pm and weee~ off we went home. Hehehe. When I got home, the first thing I did was of course SLEEP! Hehehe. Very tiring week though.

FRIDAY

Went over to Ken’s house to help his mom make sushi. Haven’t made that for about 1 year or so. Turned out tht my sushi was kinda bad… paiseh >.< Then was just helping his mom with cooking and washing up for the whole day. At night, we had a big Easter feast (not tht bad la but there was alot of things to eat).

That night, Ken came back to my place. Me, Ken, Cath and Andu camped at my backyard. Quite fun actually. Luckily it wasn't raining that night. We played Big 2 and had drinks until we were tired. I had Midori and Coke. Cath was tired after having her drink so we decided to head back to our tent to sleep.

SATURDAY

Went down to city with Ken. Played pool. That's about it ba...

I feel random today so I’m gonna post a very random post - which simply means anything can go on this post. Can be my secret (but if it’s a secret means you’re not suppose to know, right?), can be random facts about me, can be pictures, can be random feelings… so don’t sit in front of the computer scratching ur head.
